Monday nights senior game got off to a slow offensive start. The first run of the game wouldn't come until the top of the third, when Paul George would hit an RBI single to give the Aces the lead.
The game would be tied by the Marlins in the bottom of the fourth frame though, with Brady Sheppard (the Marlins starting pitcher for the evening) helping his own cause by hitting an RBI single to score Jay Miller. In the fifth, the Marlins would erupt for a typical Marlins offensive night, with two runs scoring on a Kyle Brown double, two more scoring on a Jay Miller single, and two additional runs scoring thanks to RBI doubles from both Riley Lockyer and Brady Sheppard. In total, the Marlins would score six in the frame, and lead the game 7-1.
In the seventh, the Aces would start to mount a comeback, with Paul George hitting his second RBI single of the night, and Joe Wiseman knocking in an additional run. The Marlins however would prevent any more runs, and take the game 7-3.
