Marlins 5 Hawks 3: Marlins Continue Undefeated Season
The Marlins improved to 6-0 on Thursday night, as they bested the Hawks in a close 5-3 game. The Hawks sent one of their top pitchers, Andrew Flood, out to the mound to try and keep the often raucous Marlins' bats at bay, and while he did prevent the Marlins from one of their signature loud innings, the Marlins would still grab an early lead in this one as well. While the Hawks would apply some pressure throughout the ballgame, it would never be quite enough to swing the tide the Hawks' way completely.
On the other side of the mound, Kyle Brown of the Marlins started for the team ,and threw 4.1 innings, before Matt Colbourne came in to finish the rest of the game off for the fish.
